Purpose:
To provide generic analytical support and control for the Integrated Purchasing Team to ensure the on time and in full delivery of Purchase Orders in order to meet the sales demand of their customers.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Analyst (s)
• Review & monitor Buying and Decision making process
• Forecasting Expertise
• RMA
• Pull Forward initiatives
• Push Out Initiatives
• Consolidated Buy Initiatives
• Creation & development of Reports
• Develop F&B Reporting
• Develop KPI’ s
• Liaise with Project Senior for system development
• Contract Control
• Control of Markets use of Contracts within Purchasing Process
To succeed in this position you will need the following skills and:
• Preferably Degree Level Qualification in logistics or a Supply chain education
• Good system skills including SAP, BW, and Excel
• Excellent skills in Access systems
• Competent user in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
• Transportation logistics background
• Good knowledge of overall supply chain mechanics
• Good understanding of the flow of goods from sourcing to customer
• Process thinking, analytical and good communication skills
• Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
• Ability to challenge the way in which things are done
