With a focus on further developing processes and products for the market, Cadbury are currently seeking a Chocolate Technology Manager to manage their innovative Chocolate Crumb Centre of Excellence. In this role, you the incumbent, will be responsible for the management of the NZ Chocolate Crumb Centre of Excellence and associated pilot plant facilities. You will be involved in driving chocolate specific preference and efficiency projects and providing chocolate and chocolate ingredient expertise where appropriate. You will also need to plan and manage development projects collaborating with the commercial teams to deliver business objectives. Leading the Chocolate Technology team in New Zealand, you will provide technical support to commercial & supply chain for strategic decision-making processes.
In a role with emphasis on building and maintaining professional working relationships across the whole business hierarchy, you will have proven interpersonal and communication skills backing up your extensive technical knowledge of process development within the food or dairy industries.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes:
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering, food technology or science degree
• Minimum of 5 years working in process development within a food or dairy manufacturing environment
• Proven technical experience, skills and knowledge of food/dairy processing technologies
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and associates across all levels of the professional and academic hierarchy
• Project management skills
• Experience in people management and mentoring
