My client a medium sized chartered accountancy firm, requires the expertise of an Audit senior/manager to join their team. The Audit division of this firm has experienced substantial growth over the last couple of years and as a result requires an experienced Auditor to drive the growth of this division. You will need to be someone with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels. You will work with a top selection of SME clients across the Auckland region and will be part of a successful and well regarded Audit department. You will be responsible for growing the fee base and brining in new clients, whilst leading a team of auditors. It is essential that you are able to take charge of the whole audit including all aspects of the audit file, you will be responsible for planning for future audits and tailoring audit programmes. You will need to understand Audit procedures, risk and methodology whilst effectively and accurately completing audit programmes. Ideally we are seeking someone with a number of years audit experience and a sound understanding of IFRS. This role will potentially lead to partnership opportunities in the near future.
