The client is a successful and innovative company, most well known for providing the on-line platform to facilitate the NZ electricity market. An opportunity has arisen for two junior-level Developers to join the Market Systems team. In this client facing role you will assist in the development of enhancements to the existing system, as well as designing new applications. You will also be part of an on-call team providing 24/7 support for the electricity market. This works on a roster basis, and carries an additional on-call allowance. The right candidates will demonstrate: Oracle 10g and Solaris Server experience. UNIX level scripting. A high level understanding of UNIX commands will be advantageous.
